Just for grins and giggles

I follow Tyson Wynn on Twitter and he tweeted once a few months ago how difficult it would be to put a pillowcase on a pillow if we didn’t have chins. I beg to differ.

When I was in the hospital after my daughter was born, a nurse came in to “freshen up” the room and she as she was putting the pillowcases on, I was fascinated. She told me she learned to do it that way in nursing school and it’s so easy.

So here you go!

Laundry Line Blues

It seems I’ll never learn. Today is cloudy, breezy and chilly. Yet what have I done?

Laundry.

Not that doing laundry is a bad thing. Not at all. We all have to do laundry at some point in time. The trouble is, I’m cheap. I’m very cheap. During the Spring, Summer and Fall months I like to hang my clothes outside to dry. Because it costs money to use my clothes dryer and hanging them outside is free.

I like free.

However, when it is cloudy, breezy and cold my fingers freeze hanging the wet clothes on the line.  I find myself doing this over and over.

Maybe it should just be sunny and warm when I hang clothes outside. If only I controlled the weather.
