Baby It’s Cold Outside

Susan May Warren has out done herself yet again! Another great book. This one is Baby It’s Cold Outside and is set in post-World War 2.

Baby It’s Cold Outside is the story of Dottie and Violet, two small town librarians a bit soured on love and life. When an accident throws them together for a snowbound weekend at Dottie’s house, Dottie isn’t sure she’s too keen on the idea and would rather be alone. That it is the weekend before Christmas doesn’t help her disposition at all.  Can they survive?

This book is a very refreshing read.  Baby It’s Cold Outside is a great book to lose yourself in for a few hours. You might want to plan on a day when the forecast calls for a blizzard because as you lose yourself in the book, you will start to live the book. Be sure you have plenty of extra blankets nearby.

I give this book 5 turning pages.
