Recitals

The girls had their Christmas Recital on Saturday. I am so thankful for piano teachers who think nothing of texting and/or calling to remind me.

Elizabeth played O Come, O Come Emmanuel

Ariana played "Carol Of the Bells"

The music teacher.

In other news, I have less than 12 hours until I can go to bed…oh wait, that’s not what I meant to say. In less than 12 hours we will be happily ensconced in watching the college football championship game. May the best team win.

Why do people say that because obviously the best team will win and the worst team will lose.

I have nothing riding on this game at all. I don’t care for either team, the names of both of which are beyond me at the moment.  I have some friends who like one of the teams and I could cheer for that team except my friends don’t want me to do that. It seems this year whichever team I cheer for..they have a bad habit of losing.  So I will cheer for both teams and see what happens.

In less than a month…three weeks to be exact, I have the Pro Bowl and a week or so after that is the Super Bowl. (Followed by the toilet bowl….)

In about 2 and one-half months, I get to watch for the first time the Paris-Roubaix Challenge. A bike race in France with 19 cobbled sections. I am excited. I have heard a lot about this but I haven’t ever had the chance to watch it. This is my year!

In less than 6 months we have the start of the Tour De France. WAHOOO!!!!!!!!!!

And in less than 7 months, the summer Olympics!

And people have the audacity to say to my face “You’re not athletic”. Pshaw.
