Clear Winter Nights by Trevin Wax

Chris Walker is a young college graduate with a head full of questions. He knows what he believed as a child but isn’t sure he believes it anymore. He isn’t sure it’s all true.

He spends New Years weekend with his grandfather who recently buried his wife and suffered a stroke. His grandfather is a retired pastor with a loving demeanor about him.  His grandson’s questions are no real surprise to him. He is able to converse with Chris about his questions and while not completely answering Chris’ questions he does provide plenty of food for thought.

Will Chris find his way back to what he believed or will he choose to walk away from it all?  You’ll have to read the book to find out.

I loved this book. It spoke to so many issues people have today. Many of the very issues people claim to have with Christianity are dealt with and answered in this book. If you or someone you know, Christian or not, are questioning beliefs, this would be a great book to read.

It is one I will plan on reading over and over again. There is much truth to be gleaned from it’s pages.  There is so much food for thought. So much that resonates in my soul as a YES!

One of my favorite pages from the book:

I received a free copy of this book for the purpose of review.
