Shadow Chaser A Book Review

(from my 10 year old)

I enjoyed this book because it has the same good and evil battle as Chuck Black books, but I think that Jerel Law gives it a twist of it’s own.

Jonah Stone is your average quarterling* **, at least, he was. But things are about to change.  First there’s the sicknesses that have overtaken him and his mother. Then there is the mysterious creatures from the book of Revelation that attacked him and some other quarterlings.

After that there is his fall caused by an abrupt spasm of dizziness. And let’s not forget that name a guardian angel mentioned. Despite warnings, Jonah searches for the cause of this turmoil. But his search leads him closer to danger than ever before.

Will this be Jonah’s last stand?

Shadow Chaser by Jerel Law is published by Tommy Nelson, a division of Thomas Nelson Publishers.  It is the third book in the series, Son of Angels. My 10 year old suggests you read the first two because this book does mention them and if you haven’t read them yet, you might be a little lost. (She was as she hasn’t read the first two yet.)

Tommy Nelson has graciously offered a free book give-away again. Yay!!! So if you want a chance to win this book, please watch the book trailer below and comment on this blog what you (or your child) found the most exciting)

*Quarterling is a quarter angel
**I personally don’t believe in quarter angels at all. I do not believe they are in the least big biblical. But I also don’t think fauns can talk, trees move, or that there is a magical world in the wardrobe.

Child of the Most High God, Wife, Home-schooling Momma of 2. I love Jesus, people and coffee. I am the somewhat eternal optimist viewing the coffee cup as half nothing, it's full...even when I'm chewing the grounds at the bottom.
