God is Able {Book Review with a GIVEAWAY!}

Have you ever wondered if God was able to do whatever you needed or wanted done? Did it, or does it sometimes feel like God wasn’t there, not interested in helping you? Maybe you’ve known Him to be able but you’ve questioned if He will do what you need.

If this is you, if you’ve ever struggled with feelings like these, then Priscilla Shirer‘s new book is for you! God is Able is a close look at Ephesians 3:20.

In each chapter, Priscilla focuses on a word or two from the verse.  She pulls no punches, but her boxing gloves are satin, and the blows are soft.

And to be perfectly honest, it’s not Priscilla throwing the punches but the Holy Spirit. You know when He starts tapping on your shoulder, it is to bring conviction, restoration and healing, and it’s all for our good.

“…we are always turning somewhere.
More often than not–we turn to others–to our friends, our pastor, our family, our prayer group. And that’s fine. That’s helpful. But if that’s all the turning we ever do,  we’re just piling on blankets without ever cranking up the heat. ” (page 47)

If you’re wanting to finally put your “whatever” to rest, if you want to really believe God is Able, this book is for you! And to sweeten the deal, I have a copy to giveaway.

Child of the Most High God, Wife, Home-schooling Momma of 2. I love Jesus, people and coffee. I am the somewhat eternal optimist viewing the coffee cup as half nothing, it's full...even when I'm chewing the grounds at the bottom.
